Happy Halloween Remembered

My Mom was talking to me today about Halloween when she was a child. They did go door-to-door for candy and treats, but did have a lot of fun running around in the dark, scaring each other, writing on windows with soap, and re-arranging the neighbors lawn furniture to the house next door.
She also recount a story about how my Dad went to a teacher's house and wrote geometry theorem on the windows with soap. Evidently he did well, because the teacher offered an "A" if the student that did the deed would come forward, but he didn't try to claim his prize.
